But I am now in the USA just to make it possible in Ukraine. I'm here at the invitation of First Lady Jill Biden,"
She recalled that the first lady of the United States visited Ukraine in May to personally see and communicate with those who lost their homes and loved ones due to the war..
“Now it’s my turn to speak in the United States about Ukrainian needs in our resistance and fight against the aggressor,” the First Lady of Ukraine emphasized..
She said she had already met with Secretary of State Anthony Blinken..
“His position regarding what I quote: “a sovereign, independent Ukraine will exist much longer than Putin” remains unchanged,” she said..
Olena Zelenska is expected to address the US Congress on June 20.
