In Ukraine arrested the assets of the travel company of the Russian billionaire

In Ukraine, the assets of one of the largest travel agencies, the TUI company, owned by Russian billionaire Alexei Mordashov, who is close to the political elite of the aggressor country, were arrested.

According to the SBU, by a court decision, corporate rights were seized in the amount of over UAH 31.5 million, as well as over UAH 3 million and 106 thousand. US dollars that were in bank accounts.

It is noted that Mordashov is called the “iron boy” in Russian business circles, in 2016 the businessman received the distinction “For Benevolence” from the President of the Russian Federation Putin. He is the CEO of PJSC Severstal, CJSC Severgroup, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OJSC Power Machines. The billionaire's fortune is estimated at $13.2 billion.

All seized assets were transferred to the management of the National Agency of Ukraine for the identification, search and management of assets (ARMA).

Criminal proceedings continue on the facts of appropriation of property and financing of actions committed with the aim of forcibly changing or overthrowing the constitutional order or seizing state power, changing the boundaries of the territory or state border of Ukraine (h. 5 st. 191, h. 2 st. 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
