On May 31, the Verkhovna Rada voted to dismiss Lyudmila Denisova from the post of Ombudsman. The resignation of Denisova through the expression of no confidence was initiated by the Servant of the People faction, which gathered more than 100 votes to initiate consideration of the issue. The faction accuses Denisova of lack of work results, incompetence and presentation of facts about the crimes of Russian troops in Ukraine, which only harm the reputation, because they could not be proven.
