The Verkhovna Rada is preparing a program to reduce public spending on apparatuses and bureaucracy. This was stated by the head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia.

“For 30 years everyone has been talking about it.. Now the war will finally make everyone do it. And this, it seems to me, is a unique chance for the country to increase the efficiency of the state during martial law.. And then go out with the same mood after the victory. So that this is no longer a burden, but in fact a driver for the growth of the state and the economy,” said Arakhamia.

It should be noted that in the state budget for 2022, UAH 3 billion were provided for the Verkhovna Rada.
