The UK has updated the sanctions list of Russian citizens, enterprises, as well as other persons who in every possible way contribute to the aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. New restrictions will affect 26 entities, including high-ranking military personnel involved in crimes in Bucha.

The British government announced that from now on the sanctions apply to several key leaders of the Russian army. In particular, First Deputy Chief of the General Staff Nikolai Bogdanovsky, Commander of the 64th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel Azatbek Omurbekov (she is considered involved in the crimes in Bucha), Commander of the Airborne Forces, Colonel General Andrei Serdyukov, and Commander of the Special Operations Forces, Major General Valery Flustikov.

In addition, the British government stressed that the new list also includes those individuals who publicly support Putin's invasion of Ukraine.. Among them is the Ukrainian MP-fugitive Ilya Kiva, who is now hiding abroad..

As for enterprises, the Kalashnikov Concern, the Arzamas Machine-Building Plant and the Military Industrial Company fell under the sanctions - all of them, one way or another, participate in arming the Russian army.

Recall that on the eve of the United States also published a new sanctions list relating to Russian companies and individuals..
