The Verkhovna Rada extended martial law in Ukraine for another 30 days - until May 25.

The corresponding bill was submitted to the Parliament on April 19 by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.



Martial law has been in force in Ukraine since February 24, when Russia unleashed a full-scale war against our country..

Last month, Zelensky signed a law extending martial law in the country from March 26 for 30 days..

Martial law provides for the possibility, in particular, of introducing a curfew and a pass regime, a ban on mass events, checking things and documents, confiscation of property for defense purposes with compensation to owners, violations of the right to privacy of correspondence and telephone conversations, etc..
