Europe has an alternative to Russian energy resources, Colombia is ready to replace the Russian Federation in the raw materials market. President Ivan Duque Marquez in an interview with CNN expressed his position on the war in Ukraine and the consequences of sanctions against Russia.

“North American and European countries know for sure that they can no longer rely on energy supplies from Russia. Can Colombia contribute to the solution? The answer is yes,” said the President of Colombia.
Ivan Duque believes that at present the country should develop three key industries in this direction: traditional oil and gas production and renewable energy sources such as clean hydrogen and coal.
