The British Parliament calls for the recognition of Vladimir Putin and the Russian army as terrorists, and also wants to lead the process of issuing an international warrant for the arrest of the Russian president. This was stated by British MP Layla Moran in a commentary to Guildhall.
“Putin and his army are killing innocent Ukrainians. The sanctions that we introduced were extremely necessary, but we cannot stop there while Ukrainians are being massacred,” the deputy said..
She noted that the UK should lead calls for the International Criminal Court to rule on Putin's detention..
“It’s time to treat Putin’s army and mercenaries the way we treat terrorists, using the relevant regulations of the UK government. We must lead calls for the International Criminal Court to issue an international arrest warrant for Putin,” Moran said..
Earlier it became known that 46 UNESCO member countries will boycott the meeting of the World Heritage Committee while it is headed by Russia.
