Embassies of a number of countries that left Kyiv before the start of a full-scale Russian invasion are returning to the Ukrainian capital, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a daily address to Ukrainians.
Zelensky welcomed the courage of the diplomats and stressed that the resumption of the normal work of diplomatic missions is a clear signal for the aggressor.
“Diplomatic representatives of other countries are returning to the capital. Yesterday – Turkish Embassy. Today - Ambassador of Lithuania. Earlier, the Embassy of Slovenia resumed work in Kyiv. The normal work of embassies is a clear signal to the aggressor that Kyiv is our capital,” he said..
