About twenty people's deputies left Ukraine abroad, said the first deputy speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Korniyenko on the air of the UA telethon.

As Hromadske writes, the vice speaker noted that the list includes deputies who had previously demonstrated unpatriotic sentiments. He refused to name the names of these deputies, but assured that the Security Service of Ukraine had been notified about each of them..

During the conversation, Kornienko added that the law on collaborationism, which provides for criminal liability for such actions, will soon come into force - the document has already been signed by the president.

It should be noted that at least the names of two collaborating deputies are known: Ilya Kiva, who was suspected of treason, and Putin's godfather Viktor Medvedchuk, who took advantage of the disorder at the beginning of the war and escaped from house arrest.

Recall that we are talking about two laws relating to collaboration activities, namely No. 5143 and No. 5144.

The first allows the liquidation of political parties whose authorized persons were convicted of collaborationism, and also applies to other legal entities that are confirmed as collaborators..

The second supplementary Criminal Code will be supplemented with Article 111-1 Collaboration activity, which introduces criminal liability for cooperation with the aggressor state, its occupation administration or its armed or paramilitary formations in any field. Collaboration activities in Ukraine will be punishable by 15 years in prison, and will also include restricting access to a number of positions.
