We cannot stop the war if Russia and its President Vladimir Putin do not want to do this, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said after talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“Today I heard that a ceasefire is possible if Ukraine fulfills Putin’s conditions. However, Ukraine does not give up. We will look for diplomatic solutions, and until this is achieved, we will protect people from Russian aggression,” Kuleba said at a briefing in Turkey on Thursday.
Note that Kuleba and Lavrov held talks in Turkish Antalya today through the mediation of Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu. This meeting was the first at the government level since the start of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine..
