Presidents of Ukraine and Romania discussed the security situation in the Black Sea

Presidents of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Romanian President Klaus Iohannis discussed by phone the security situation in the Black Sea and Ukraine's practical initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation with partner countries in the region. This was reported on Tuesday, February 1, by the press service of the Office of the President.

The presidents also exchanged views on the implementation of the European integration strategy by Ukraine. Zelensky noted the importance of providing a European perspective to Ukraine and expressed hope for support from Romania.

It should be noted that earlier Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that Ukraine is part of important transport corridors, therefore the Foreign Ministry is constantly working to attract investors, open new infrastructure opportunities for Ukraine, new business projects and build transit corridors.
