On November 8, Belarusian journalists published a video of a large crowd of migrants heading towards the Polish border. The journalists stressed that the people were accompanied by armed people with dogs, that is, their movement was organized..

After that, Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak announced the state of alert on the border with Belarus. Deputy Foreign Minister Petr Vavzhik accused the authorities in Minsk of seeking an escalation of the conflict, which would lead at least to the death of one of the parties.
