Kiev opened cases against two Russian rear admirals

For participation in the events in the Kerch Strait on November 25, the Security Service of Ukraine opened criminal cases against a number of Russian military forces. According to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office Nezalezhnaya, Russians were suspected of “Preparing and waging an aggressive war” (part 2 of article 437 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), “attempted crime” (part 2 of article 15) and “premeditated murder” (paragraph 1 of part 2 of article 115 ). It is noted that the relevant documents were sent at the place of service of the military. Cases have been filed against the following Russian servicemen:.

Head of the Border Department of the Federal Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Sevastopol, Rear Admiral Sergei Stankevich (h. 2 st. 437);.

Deputy Head of the Coast Guard, Vice Admiral Gennady Medvedev (h. 2 st. 437);.

Chief of Service of the FSB control point of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Kazakhstan and Sevastopol, which consists of the Izumrud and Don ships, the captain of the 1st rank. Romashkina (h. 2 st. 437);.

Deputy head of the department head of the department of the PU PUU FSB of the Russian Federation in the Crimea, Captain 1 rank A. Sheina (h. 2 st. 437);.

the head of the service in the city of Kerch of the control point of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in the Crimea, captain 2 rank A. Shatokhina (h. 2 st. 437);.

Captain of the Don Border Patrol Ship, Captain 2 Rank A. Salyaeva (h. 2 st. 437);.

commander of the patrol ship "Emerald", captain 3 rank A. Shipitsyna (h. 2 st. 15, paragraph 1, h. 2 st. 115 and h. 2 st. 437);.

commander of a small anti-submarine ship "Suzdalets", captain 3 rank C. Shcherbakova (h. 2 st. 437).

According to the Kiev side, "illegal aggressive actions" against Ukrainian sailors were conducted on the orders and under the leadership of Vice Admiral Medvedev and the head of the FSB border department, Stankevich. In turn, upon the violation of the state border of the Russian Federation by warships of Ukraine, a criminal case was initiated under part 3 of article 322 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Now in Simferopol, the Kiev District Court is taking a preventive measure for seamen and their commanders.
