By the decision of the President of the Russian Federation, the heads were changed in the Astrakhan region, Primorsky Krai and Kabardino-Balkaria. This is stated on the website of the Kremlin. The post of Astrakhan governor Alexander Zhilkin was transferred to Sergei Morozov, who previously worked as deputy head of the Federal Customs Service (FCS). Vladimir Putin invited him to lead the region, noting former services. Morozov's proposal was accepted. In Primorye, the provisional governor will now be the ex-head of the Saratov region Oleg Kozhemyako. According to Putin, the incident with the elections in Primorsky Krai caused the need to appoint a temporary figure in power. "It is impossible to leave such a significant territory, such an important region without leadership, not only for two months, it's impossible for one day," the president explained..

However, he is not going to be content with the status of Krizyako, he has already announced his desire to compete for the governor's seat in the forthcoming regional elections in a few months. In Kabardino-Balkaria the power was replaced, but the name of the head of the republic is not. In place of Yuri Kokov came his namesake Kazbek Kokov. The former governor asked for another job "for a number of reasons". In the record of Kazbek Kokov, the last place of work is the presidential administration.
