Today, the Committee for Control and Regulations of the State Duma adopted a decision on the formation of a single Commission, which will deal with the control of many issues, including parliamentary ethics. Also, she will monitor the reliability of information on income. This was reported to the journalists by the Committee Chairman Olga Savastyanova. "On the part of the Control Committee and the Rules we transfer all mandated issues, that is, everything related to the early termination of the powers of deputies. The Commission will have the opportunity to take all these decisions and go directly to the [meeting] of the State Duma, "explained Sevastyanova, stressing that such a decision is in accordance with the experience of the parliaments of other countries, in particular the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO). The creation of a new Duma "unit" was supported by the speaker of the lower house, Vyacheslav Volodin. "To call it is proposed - the Commission for the control of the reliability of information on income, property, property obligations, provided by deputies of the State Duma, mandate issues and issues of parliamentary ethics," - said the chairman of the State Duma. He noted that the lower house will consider the final decision on its creation next week. "The question of revising the activities of these Commissions is being worked on since the beginning of 2018.

In fact, the two commissions were created artificially, because they have a lot in common [in their work], and those documents that are submitted to the State Duma are examined by both the Commission on Ethnic Ethics and the Commission for Monitoring the Reliability of Information on Incomes, "explained Volodin. According to him, this decision will make further work "more systematic". The Commission will be formed on a pro rata basis.

This means that most will be parliamentarians from the party of power, its representative will be at the helm of the Commission. From the "United Russia" it will include 10 deputies, from the Communist Party and the LDPR - 4, from "Fair Russia" - 2.
