Volodin welcomed the new deputies of the State Duma

The composition of the lower house of the Russian parliament in this autumn session will be updated by seven deputies. Their names became known by the results of the Single voting day, held on Sunday, September 9. With a welcoming speech, the speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin. "I want to congratulate our future colleagues who have elected in seven single-mandate constituencies and received the support of their constituents," he said, noting that they can start their work in the State Duma after the official announcement of the election results by the Central Election Commission. Among those who can accept congratulations, were: - Olga Alimova (CPRF) from Saratov single-mandate electoral district number 163, Saratov region; - Sergei Veremeenko ("United Russia") from Zavolzhsky single-mandate electoral district No. 180, Tver Region; - Andrey Kuzmin (LDPR) from the Amur single-mandate constituency No. 71, the Amur Region; - Yevgeny Primakov (United Russia) from the Balashov single-mandate electoral district No. 165, Saratov region; - Dmitry Svatkovsky (United Russia) from Nizhny Novgorod single-mandate electoral district No. 129, Nizhny Novgorod region; - Alexander Khinshtein ("United Russia") from the Samara single-mandate electoral district No. 158, Samara region; - Alexander Yaroshuk ("United Russia") from the Central Single-mandate electoral district No. 98, Kaliningrad region.

As the speaker noted, the elected deputies "represent different political parties, but unites them one - the interests of voters and our country": "Five or more candidates applied for each mandate of the deputy of the State Duma. The winners were determined by the voters: they chose those who worked more in the district, met with citizens, went into the problems of people and found the necessary decisions, "Volodin stressed.. The final voting results will be announced on Friday, September 14.
