According to Volodin, more than 100 amendments to the bill have been submitted to the lower house of parliament. And in the near future is expected a package - from the president. Speaking on Wednesday, August 29, with a televised address to the citizens of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin announced his proposals concerning the age of retirement, benefits for mothers with many children, the concept of "pre-retirement age" and so forth. All this now has to be worked out and integrated into the bill. "We will have to meet more than once in order to try to synchronize the adoption of bills that we have already considered in the first reading, with legislative initiatives that implement the president's proposals," Volodin said.. "The changes will affect not only laws related to the changes in the pension legislation, but also in the Labor, Criminal and Administrative Codes," he stressed.. The decision to set up a working group was taken last week in the course of large public-parliamentary hearings held at the State Duma at the initiative of the speaker.
