Volodin noted that the discussion took place in an open mode: all points of view were expressed that were formulated by the parties represented in the State Duma. "But all experts agreed that it is necessary to make a decision. This decision has matured, and it's simply dangerous to postpone it, "the speaker said.. Volodin explained that the topic of amending the pension system will be discussed again within the framework of the already established working group. "Because there are proposals that are very specific in nature. They require additional discussions, "he explained adding that it is therefore very important to consult with the government, which introduced the bill. "We understand that this decision is primarily aimed at increasing the welfare of our pensioners, raising the level of pensions, resolving issues, so that our pension is at least 40% of the salary with which a person retires," the politician said.. In addition, Volodin is sure that the discussion deserves other issues that were raised today. These include initiatives of factions, the Public Chamber, representatives of trade unions and employers. The latter particularly insist on "the immediate adoption of this decision and supported the experts in the fact that this decision was delayed, and from this we lose the economy". Work on this issue will continue. "The working group next week will begin an analysis of all that was proposed and, perhaps, will make its recommendations, which will be taken in the light of the opinion of all political factions," the speaker explained.. Commenting on the initiative with the abolition of deputy bonuses to the pension, Volodin noted that it is worth discussing after it is submitted to the lower house of parliament. "This issue is important, but I think this is the simplest solution that we can take," he said..
