The minister pointed out that pensioners who are not working pensioners should become the beneficiaries of all changes in the pension legislation.

He recalled that now our pension system is insurance and solidarity. But that it was strong and financially secure, it is necessary to develop it in the direction of insurance premiums, rather than make-up from the federal budget. As for the specific size of the pension, then, according to the government's idea, the current bill will increase it from 2019 to 1,000 rubles. Thus, already in 2024, monthly payments can reach 20 thousand rubles against today's 14 thousand rubles.
