US Senate tired of considering new bills on measures of pressure on Russia every six months. There they decided to approach the issue radically - to adopt one law that will unite all sanctions against the Russian Federation, both already in force, such as CAATSA and the "Magnitsky Act", and potentially possible ones. For example, it is proposed to recognize the Russian Federation as a "sponsoring state of terrorism" and to introduce appropriate measures against it. The idea was put forward by Senators Lindsey Graham, Robert Menendez, Corey Gardner and Ben Cardin. Their "Act on the protection of American security from the aggression of the Kremlin 2018" (DASKAA), which they made to the Senate on August 2, begins with an appeal to Donald Trump - in fact, many anti-Russian actions are possible only with the filing of the President of the United States. In particular, the head of the White House is required to demand from the Kremlin to return the Crimea to Ukraine, to abandon the "support of separatists" in the east of Ukraine, in Georgia and Moldova, to abandon the support of "war criminal" Bashar Assad. Trump must again protest against the intervention of the Russian Federation in the democratic processes in the US, Kommersant reports referring to the text of the bill. The Kremlin list, accompanying the CAATSA act, should be expanded and headed by President Putin himself, the senators. They call for freezing accounts of the seven largest banks of Russia, including Sberbank, VTB, VEB and Promsvyazbank. The Americans also want to prohibit all foreigners from investing in federal loan bonds. For these measures to be more effective, Washington intends to coordinate its actions with Brussels. For this purpose, it is proposed to create a special American-European structure.

Plus, within the United States, it is recommended to open a National Joint Center to respond to hybrid threats that can finance the protection of countries vulnerable to the "Russian cyber aggression". In general, the 100-page document included many items. It even mentions the poisoning of the Fiddles in Britain - on this basis it is proposed to punish the Russian Federation for "using chemical weapons". The bill will be considered, most likely, in September, since in August the Senate was dismissed for a vacation.
