The State Duma adopted the law "On Specially Protected Natural Territories". At the plenary meeting on Wednesday, July 25, the deputies agreed in the third, final, reading of the amendment that protect the country's unique forest resources from being used in someone's personal interests. In particular, the transfer of private plots of land located on the territory of nature reserves or national parks is completely excluded from now on. These lands, like zakazniks, as well as nature monuments are protected by the state, are federal property. Accordingly, and all natural resources located in these territories can not be in someone's private possession. In addition, local authorities will now have to change for years the emerging tradition of garbage collection.

After all, according to accepted standards, in the territories of national parks it is impossible to arrange landfills, put waste products and make cattle cemeteries. No major sports facilities on the territories of national parks, too, will not be built. Even to equip new ski slopes and cable cars in protected natural areas is now forbidden. With regard to fees for visiting reserves and national parks by citizens, this point will be determined by the government in each case separately. Taking into account the specific features of the socio-economic development of the area where the protected natural area is located and the interests of the local population. By the way, for indigenous small peoples living in the territories of national parks, conditions will be created for more favorable living, said the head of the State Duma committee on ecology and environmental protection Vladimir Burmatov. "It reached before the senility. The people who live there for three hundred years, who have all the relatives there live - they were forced to pay for entry to this territory. But it is this law that removes this, "the deputy said.. He said that such an important document was developed three years ago. However, the departments within the government could not agree with each other about the different moments. "We did this for two months, after a broad discussion with experts, environmentalists and directors of specially protected natural areas," Burmatov said.. In his opinion, this is a perfect example of the effectiveness of the new formats of work that the State Duma of the Seventh Convocation adopted.

It should be noted that within the framework of the adopted law a number of nature reserves were granted the status of national parks. The transformation affected the Teberda state natural biosphere reserve, the state nature reserve "Stolby", the state natural biosphere reserve "Komandorsky" and the state nature reserve "Gydansky". At the same time, it is emphasized that the transformation should in no way affect the boundaries of these protected natural areas. That is, there are no loopholes for businessmen who want to profit from the country's natural riches, the legislators have not left.
