Actively discussed law will bring life on a well-deserved rest to a qualitatively new level. So, starting next year, for the first time in the history of Russia, the indexation of pensions will double the inflation rate in the country, assured the chairman of the United Russia Social Platform, the head of the Committee on Social Policy of the Council of Federation Valery Ryazansky. "The government bill aimed at changing the parameters of the pension system is extremely necessary in modern realities. In the event that today we miss the moment, the further economic situation may lead to a decrease in pension provision, a reduction in pension guarantees and indexation. Therefore, such a measure of retention in the labor market of an additional number of qualified specialists with extensive experience will allow, on the one hand, to save certain funds of the pension system, and on the other hand, to direct these funds to increase pensions for non-working pensioners, which is extremely important, "Ryazansky. In his opinion, the approval of the initiative together with the project of ratification of the 102nd Convention of the International Labor Organization is Russia's next step towards international standards. That is, pensioners will pay at least 40% of his real salary. "This is an international norm, which we must follow, and, moreover, we will report to the International Labor Organization for it," the senator summed up.. He noted that the pension law for the second reading will undergo changes.

The accent will be made on the reduction of the level of unemployment taking into account the regional specifics. "Here, additional efforts will be required to process proposals received from the regions that will allow the development of additional social security measures in connection with the introduction of a law on changing the parameters of the pension system," concluded the party member. Today, State Duma deputies voted in the first reading for improving the pension system.
