The life expectancy of Russian men by 2030 will grow by 16-17 years, so the pension reform is completely justified. This was stated by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Maxim Topilin at the "zero hearings" of the bill passed in the Public Chamber. The Minister stressed that by now the life expectancy of men has increased by almost 8 years compared to 2000. and will continue to grow in the future. Because of this, and you need to improve the length of service and the age of retirement. Earlier, TV presenter Dmitry Kiselev shared his opinion on pension reform in the "News of the Week" program.

He believes that Russian men themselves are to blame for the early death. The reasons that they do not survive to retirement are not old age at all, but a disregard for life: drunkenness, smoking, drug addiction, foolhardiness on roads, disregard for safety rules in general, Kiselev believes.. The Cabinet of Ministers submitted to the State Duma a bill on the gradual increase in the retirement age in the Russian Federation from 55 to 63 years for women and from 60 to 65 for men.
