As a grandstand representative of "Apple" chose Facebook social network.

On his page, he presented Dmitry Gudkov, who wanted to compete for the chairmanship of the capital's mayor from the "Civil Initiative," the blame for the collapse of the opposition in Moscow. "Unfortunately, Gudkov was approached by the approach in the format of a carrot: they offered to become chairman of the party. He wanted to do this for a long time, sponsors and close supporters encouraged him, I could not dissuade him. Gudkov ran away, the design collapsed, "- concluded Katz. According to him, the candidate from the opposition will be absent from the election of the mayor of the capital because of Gudkov, whom the party was preparing to participate in the September elections, since he was considered the leader of a foreign political front. He enlisted the support of a number of democrats and municipal parliamentarians.

Katz noted that the party counted on Gudkov, since the denial of registration "was unlikely, and it was very realistic to win the competition for nomination from Sergei Mitrokhin". In turn, political scientists in the deficit of the struggle in the elections also accused Gudkov, and along with him Katz and Mitrokhin. The experts came to this conclusion at the round table "Moscow elections - 2018", according to the website of the Civil Society Development Foundation. "It was already two months ago that it became clear that the ambitions of each of the potential liberal candidates for the post of the mayor of Moscow are such that it is simply impossible to talk about a single candidate from the opposition," said Konstantin Kostin,. He stressed that all three would agree to a single opposition candidate, but only if they put forward specifically Gudkov, Katz or Mitrokhin. And with this understanding of the situation and individual potential, the political process is doomed to failure, the expert concluded. Let's note, Dmitry Gudkov did not score the required number of signatures for registration, so he dropped out of the pre-election race. In the "Civil Initiative" he came from the party "Yabloko", breaking off the last friendship.

Mosgorizbirkom completed the reception of documents.

To register candidates for mayors before July 3, they were to collect 110 signatures of municipal deputies to overcome the so-called municipal filter, about the passage of which five applicants for the post of mayor. For self-nominees this threshold was higher - 36 thousand. of voters. The corresponding package collected 6 out of 30 previously announced candidates. The names of those who fall on the ballot papers will be known no later than July 13. Elections of the Moscow mayor will be held on a single voting day, September 9.
