Sverdlovsk officials for two years of the institute's existence of a notice on the receipt of state gifts for the performance of official duties handed over over hundreds of presents to the state. This was reported by Tatyana Danilova, deputy director of the Personnel Policy Department of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, during a meeting of the regional commission for the coordination of anti-corruption work, which was commissioned by Yevgeny Kuyvashev, his first deputy, Alexei Orlov.

The vice-governor noted that a very effective way of preventing domestic corruption is to minimize direct contacts between citizens and officials in the course of receiving state and municipal services. This is facilitated by the development in the Middle Urals of a network of multifunctional centers through which it is possible to obtain a state service without direct contact with an official. Today in the territory of 73 municipalities of the Sverdlovsk region there are 135 MFCs.
