In the next few hours, the administration of President of the United States Donald Trump plans to announce the withdrawal from the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) of the United States. This is reported by the agency Bloomberg on Tuesday, June 19. According to the sources of the publication, an important announcement will be made by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and US Permanent Representative to the UN Nikki Haley at the State Department at 17:00 local time (00:00 MSK on June 20). It is noted that Washington has long accused the HRO of "hypocrisy and prejudice against Israel". The agency writes that the US decision to withdraw from the Council was expected. In particular, US National Security Adviser John Bolton opposed the establishment of this body when he was still the UN ambassador to the UN in 2006. Also, Haley, in an appeal to the HRC in 2017, accused him of "a relentless and pathological campaign" against Israel. Then she called for the exclusion from the state of those states that are themselves poorly respecting human rights. "In the end, no speeches and no structural reforms will save the members of the Human Rights Council from themselves," she fought to the world community. The publication points out that at the time of publication of the information, the State Department did not comment on this news, but how the UN responded that they had not yet received notification that the US was withdrawing from the HRC. And all this takes place against the background of severe criticism of the Trump administration by business groups, human rights organizations and legislators for the recently adopted decision to divide children from parents who enter the States illegally.

Just the day before, the Council, which includes 47 members and based in Geneva since 2006, expressed disagreement with Trump's migration policy, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Al-Hussein even called her "unscrupulous". Earlier today, the organization ProPublica unveiled an audio recording, on which one can hear the crying of Hispanic children placed in isolation from their parents. It is reported that children from 4 to 10 years. You can also hear the voice of an adult, probably a frontier officer:

"We have a concert here. Only the conductor is not enough ". As reported by "Izvestia", only in the period from April 19 to May 31 with their parents were separated almost 2 thousand. children. The situation was so heated that even the first lady of the USA Melanya Trump expressed her indignation yesterday about the migration policy of her spouse's administration. She said that she "can not look at" how children of illegal migrants are separated from their families.
