The main Ukrainian counter-intelligence agent Anton Gerashchenko called everyone who calls to boycott the World Cup in Russia with Kremlin agents. He is convinced that Russian President Vladimir Putin has devised such a cunning plan in order to shift the attention of the world community from really important problems to "secondary and even tertiary". This opinion he expressed in an interview with one of the Ukrainian TV channels. Political expert Alexander Semchenko, commenting on this statement noted that it seems that Ukrainian law enforcers in the near future will "open up another nest of enemies and present both to our public inside the country and to the international community of spies who poured water onto Putin's mill".
