In the popular British humorous program, TV presenter John Oliver ridiculed the "murder" of Ukrainian journalist Arkady Babchenko. Babchenko's death was staged to bring Russian customers to the surface - it sounds like a detective novel, Oliver said on the Last Week Tonight. The video is laid out on Youtube. The witty TV host highly appreciated the details of the "crime", separately noting the work of the make-up artist. In addition, he said that it would be better for the "killed" journalist, instead of reading the news about his "death" in the morgue, would watch TV, drinking along with Tupac Shakur a cocktail in the Caribbean (Tupac Shakur is an American hip-hop singer who was shot in 1996). Then Oliver drove through the family Babchenko. The presenter reminded that one journalist decided that the resurrected Arkady would have to give his wife lots of flowers in order to atone for her guilt in front of her. TV presenter advised Babchenko not to waste money, but simply to make bouquets of those flowers that were brought to his "grave". Well, then he completely broke up and suggested that Babchenko does not have any wife, and that he himself changed into a ladies' dress to escape from the country.

The media reported last week about the death of journalist Arkady Babchenko, the Ukrainian authorities confirmed her: allegedly a Russian was shot on the stairs in his house. At the same time the next day Babchenko, as if nothing had happened at the SBU press conference, and the head of the department Vasily Hrytsak announced that the report on the "murder" of the journalist is part of a special operation to prevent an attempt on him. In the interval between "death" and "Babchenko's resurrection" in his death, Moscow was accused.
