In the Sverdlovsk Region, the new chief of the State Institution of Emergency Situations. Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on this post appointed Colonel Viktor Teryaev. He replaced Andrei Zalensky, who retired in July 2017.

Teryaev Viktor Vladimirovich is from the Tyumen region. He was born on January 8, 1968 in the village of Khantinovka of the Sladkovskiy district. In 1989, Teryayev graduated from the Tyumen Higher Military Engineering Command School with the specialty "Exploitation of Engineering Weapons Machines". In 1997 - the Tyumen Polytechnic College, specialty "Fire Safety". Further, in 2004, Teryaev V. graduated from the Tyumen State University with a degree in "Law" and in 2013 - the Academy of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia.

In the armed forces of the USSR, and then Russia, he served from August 1985 to September 1992. In the system of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been working since 1993. In March 2015, Teryaev was appointed to the post of first deputy head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Tyumen region. In August 2017, he was transferred to the position of deputy head of the Sverdlovsk Glavka, until yesterday he was acting as the head of the Main Directorate.
