Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev called on industrialists and entrepreneurs of the Sverdlovsk region to work together to adjust the region's strategic plans for the implementation of all the facilities of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, designated by him in the "May decree" on the tasks of the development of the Russian Federation until 2024. The head of the region said this on May 29 at a meeting of the Presidium of the SSPPU, the information policy department of the governor.
Evgeny Kuyvashev reminded that the new "May decree" of the President of Russia is the most important document within which the authorities and business will work in the coming years. With regard to the development of industry, a number of tasks have been identified in it. In particular, the acceleration of technological development and the introduction of innovations, digital technologies, the creation of an export-oriented sector in the basic sectors of the economy.
"In the near future, we will carry out the necessary adjustments to the regional strategic planning documents, define a clear action plan for the implementation of the Presidential Decree. I hope that the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs will take an active part in this work, will give their proposals, will act as experts, "said Yevgeny Kuyvashev.
At the same time, the governor stressed that in the Sverdlovsk region there are already significant developments in these areas. So, in the region there is a Coordination Center for Support of Export-Oriented Subjects of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, which in 2017 was recognized as the leader in the rating of Russian centers. With regard to the development of the digital economy, the Sverdlovsk region has made a big step towards building a "smart region" by developing its concept with new technological systems of transport management, urban lighting, utility networks,.
The main theme of today's conversation in the course of the Presidium of the OSSPP was the creation of favorable conditions for doing business in the Sverdlovsk Region. According to Dmitry Pumpyanskiy, the president of SSPPP, in the ranking of the necessary actions to improve the investment climate in the Sverdlovsk region, industrialists and entrepreneurs have been placing the first place for several years on the provision of tax incentives and other support measures. The governor reminded that our region is one of the five Russian leaders on key indicators of small and medium business development. All necessary infrastructure has been created here, including business incubators and technoparks, an advanced system of tax preferences and measures to support entrepreneurs.
"For example, let me say that the amount of tax relief granted to participants in priority investment projects in 2017 was 2.75 billion rubles, and the investment volume for these projects exceeded 17 billion. At the end of 2017, more than 20,000 small and medium-sized businesses received state support in various forms: in the form of preferential investment loans, microloans, subsidies, grants and others for more than 8 billion rubles, "said Evgeny Kuyvashev.
According to Dmitry Pumpyanskiy, before the Sverdlovsk region, the governor has set ambitious tasks, the main one of which is to enter the top-three regions-leaders.
"This requires special attention to a qualitative increase in the effectiveness of support measures at the regional level. The Sverdlovsk region is one of the few regions where, despite a number of problems that arose due to turbulence in world markets, almost the entire range of benefits and support measures for business was retained, "said the president of the union.
He expressed his confidence that the whole package of such measures would help realize the tasks set by Vladimir Putin in the new decree, as well as the Five-Year Development Program of the Sverdlovsk Region.
