Sverdlovsk deputies will consider the draft law on counter-sanctions. The document, submitted to the State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, has already been sent to the Legislative Assembly of the region, according to the regional parliament.

The document provides for retaliatory sanctions. Russia is ready to stop cooperation with the US in the nuclear, missile and aircraft industries, to limit the supply of certain industrial goods, agricultural products, software, alcohol, tobacco and drugs.

"The response sanctions should be tough, but do not affect the interests of our citizens and business, do not have a negative impact on the Russian economy and domestic producers," stressed the chairman of the Legislative Assembly Lyudmila Babushkina.

She drew particular attention to the decision not to prohibit the supply of titanium to the US, which was voiced by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov. VSMPO-Avisma plants, which provide up to 40% of Boeing's titanium needs, are located in Verkhnyaya Salda. Regional deputies should familiarize themselves with the draft law and give it their opinion. Consideration of the bill in the first reading in the State Duma will be held on May 15.
