He claims that the incident in Moscow was learned not from the authorities, but from the media that disseminated this information. At the same time, the Kremlin, in accordance with the Vienna Convention, made a request about the circumstances of death and the progress of the investigation, but no one has yet responded. "Moreover, it seems that the British side demonstratively ignores our requests and continues to avoid any contacts with the embassy on this issue," RIA Novosti quotes Yakovenko as saying.. Berezovsky's comrade Nikolai Glushkov died March 13 in the UK. His body was discovered in his home, where as early as 2010. he received political asylum.

Among other versions, it was suggested that the entrepreneur was strangled by a dog leash. The death of Glushkov Scotland Yard is officially considered as murder. It was reported that the police did not find a connection between this case and the poisoning in Salisbury of Russian defector Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia.
