The current crisis in relations between Poland and Ukraine and the impending catastrophe are associated with the creation of a Russian party in the country. This conclusion was reached by the historian Jerzy Targalsky, according to "Polish Radio" on Wednesday, March 21. The expert believes that the law on the institution of the national memory of Poland in the part that concerns the Nezalezhnaya is allegedly taken under the dictates of Russia, because the people who did this are politically connected with our country. "In addition, they as politicians play anti-Ukrainian map," - said the historian. In his view, the anti-Banderian law will not be applied, although nationalist elements in the state use it to increase its value. In Poland, in government circles, there are many people who believe that part of the law relating to Ukraine needs to be changed, he notes.. According to Targalsky, in Poland, since the start of the crisis between Warsaw and the Israeli authorities, as well as Jewish circles in the United States, work has begun on creating a Russian party in the country that will be nationalist, anti-Semitic, anti-Ukrainian, anti-American and will call for an alliance with Russia against the US and NATO. In case of government inaction, a powerful pro-Russian force will ripen in Poland, which will occupy a fairly large part of the electorate of the party "Right and Justice". According to the expert, already now in the Polish media and among politicians the Russian factor is becoming stronger, and this finds support among the Poles. The historian stressed that the country has been going to such a state for two years already. "We now need decisive steps, and the government party is not capable of such steps," Targalsky summed up.. Recall that in 2018 Poland adopted a law providing for criminal liability for denying the crimes of Ukrainian nationalists against the Poles during World War II. Only on Monday, March 19, during the anti-Ukrainian rally at the Polish Embassy in Warsaw, the deputy of the Polish Sejm, Robert Vinnytsky, crushed the red-black flag of the banned OUN in Russia, calling it a "Bandera rag". "The action was a direct response to the march of nationalists in Lviv two weeks ago.

In addition to the "People's Movement", representatives of the nationalist organizations "National Radical Camp" and "All-Polish Youth" joined it, "Vinnitsky wrote in his Facebook. At the rally, the protesters shouted the slogans "Banderovtsy - killers", "Shukhevych - the criminal" and "Shame for Ukraine". Also, the nationalists called on the Polish government "to radically change its policy towards Kiev". And at the end of the event the Poles burned portraits of Bandera and Shukhevych.
