Preliminary results of elections to the Italian parliament on March 4 confirmed the change in the political situation in Europe. The party that received the largest number of votes was "Five-Star Movement," according to the Telegram channel of the magazine "Russia in Global Politics". This political association, created by the former comedian Beppe Grillo, still remains quite scandalous. At the same time, according to the results of the elections, "Five stars" gain at least 30% of the interest, which is a huge success for the party. The movement has unwound itself as a protest force and has always opposed even work in government. However, a major success in the parliamentary elections put before the party a new task: to become a full-fledged political force capable of working in a coalition and public administration. Political analysts predict that the new government is likely to recreate the coalition that existed in the years when Silvio Berlusconi was the prime minister of Italy: "Forward, Italy," "League" and "The Brothers of Italy". "Forward, Italy" Berlusconi and the right-wing "League" (formerly known as the "League of the North") scored about 15% each. "Brothers of Italy", for which about 5% of voters voted, - post-fascist party. At the same time, Berlusconi is forbidden to participate in the activity of the Cabinet of Ministers until 2019, but he does not hide that he plans to be the main mediator in solving coalition problems in the government.
Political analysts believe that the elections in Italy have confirmed the trends that have manifested itself in Europe in recent years: irritation and fatigue from the bored establishment, the unpopularity of leftist parties, the rise of Eurosceptism. In addition, one of the main results of the elections in the Apennines was the triumphant return to the big politics of former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, the leader of the "Vpered, Italy" party, whom analysts have dubbed "the political Phoenix".
