Against German deputies in Ukraine a criminal case has been opened on the fact of their entry into the territory of the peninsula. The investigation was opened by the prosecutor's office of the virtual "Autonomous Republic of Crimea". As the press service of this mythical department, based in Kiev, the case was initiated following the examination of the appeal of the Ukrainian Embassy in Germany. It is noted that information has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations and a pre-trial investigation has begun on the grounds of a criminal offense in connection with the "violation by citizens of the Federal Republic of Germany of the order of entry into the temporarily occupied territory". The sanction of the article instituted against the German parliamentarians provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 3 years.

The delegation of the deputies of the three parliaments of Germany from the party "Alternative for Germany" (Berlin, Brandenburg and North Rhine-Westphalia) flew to the Crimea on February 3 with quite clear goals - to discuss issues related to the lifting of sanctions from Russia. The ambassador of Ukraine in Germany, Andrei Melnik, the next day said that "irresponsible voyage" for "these grief-deputies" may have "lamentable legal consequences". "It's a pity that our warnings are still not taken seriously," he wrote formidably in his Twitter.

In Berlin they criticized the trip of the representatives of the Bundestag to the Crimea, but somehow they did not punish them. As the head of the press service of the government of Germany Steffen Seibert stressed, for private trips to the peninsula, punishment is not provided for. The German delegation will stay in the Crimea for nine days. Deputies said that the peninsula, its nature and people left a pleasant impression.
