The governor of the Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev met with the head of Nizhny Tagil Sergei Nosov. They discussed plans to develop an industrial city. This was reported in the regional department of information policy.

The topic of the meeting was timed to coincide with the anniversary year of Vladimir Putin's instructions on the development of Nizhny Tagil, the head of state gave them five years ago.

"We consider the development of the city in accordance with the Five-Year Development Program and with the President's decree on the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Nizhny Tagil. I also want to thank you for your efforts, which made possible the realization of the project on the construction of a bridge across the Nizhnetagilsky pond. This was talked about a lot during the Soviet era, but the region leader made this decision for the first time, "Sergei Nosov said during a conversation with Yevgeny Kuyvashev.

The contract for the design of the bridge over the Nizhnetagilsky pond has already been signed, and a timetable for the implementation of the planned plans has been drawn up.

In February, the city authorities are going to present the project of the bridge to the Tagil residents and to submit it for public discussion.

Recall that in September 2017, in the presence of the governor, an agreement was signed on socio-economic cooperation between the government of the Sverdlovsk region, Evraz and the administration of Nizhny Tagil. The document assumes the implementation in the city of projects related to the development of transport infrastructure.
