The administration of US President Donald Trump compiles a list of high-ranking Russian officials and large businessmen close to the Kremlin, who are offered to rank among a number of opponents of the United States. This report must be submitted to Congress no later than January 29, 2018. According to Kommersant, at least 50 names will be mentioned in the report, and if the case concerns members of the families of the defendants, then "under the hood" will be about 300 Russians. Legislating, entering into the "black list" of the White House does not mean automatic falling under sanctions, with the prohibition of entry, freezing of accounts and other troubles. However, the status of the US opponent is the last step to sanctions, and it was always quickly overcome by the American side. Now everything also indicates that the senators will not allow the administration to make this list simply an unsubscription. The other day the Democrats presented an extensive report "Putin's asymmetric attack on democracy in Russia and Europe: implications for US national security". As the member of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, Democrat Benjamin Cardin, explained to fellow congressmen, the goal of the 200-page document is to show how Moscow systematically destroys America, destabilizing it from within. And references in the report go back to 1999. , Russia was headed by Vladimir Putin. In other words, the Democrats have changed tactics and accuse Trump not in that he conspired with the Kremlin, but in that he does not see the threat that comes from Moscow and will be more terrible than Pearl Harbor. The authors of the report urge the White House to intensify sanctions against Moscow, and society - not to let Trump retreat from this line.

Apparently, properly prepared public opinion, indeed, will not allow the US administration to pull with the introduction of sanctions. On the eve of the country's Finance Minister Stephen Mnuchin said that the White House is working on sanctions against "Russian oligarchs" and they will be announced in the near future in the framework of the "Law on Countering US Enemies". Adopted by the US Congress, the law on tightening measures against Russia, North Korea and Iran, Donald Trump described as "unconstitutional," but signed in August last year.
