The ban on visiting the meetings of the State Duma by US media can be adopted as early as next week. This was reported by the head of the committee on control and regulations of the State Duma Olga Savastyanova. According to her, on Monday, December 4, the profile Duma committee will consider the draft of the relevant resolution. Then, according to the decision of the Council of the Duma, the document can be submitted for the next plenary session. Most likely, the discussion of this legislative norm will be held on Wednesday, December 6. The decision will come into force after signing the document approved by the deputies by the speaker of the lower house of parliament Vyacheslav Volodin. "The decree will concern the ban on visiting the State Duma for journalists representing all the American media," Savastianova told IA REGNUM.
