The Sverdlovsk authorities held a regular meeting of the Council with Banks, designed to support investment projects within the framework of the programs of credit institutions. The creation of a platform where investors can present their projects to representatives of the banking community in the presence of the heads of regional departments was initiated by the governor Evgeny Kuyvashev.
At the next meeting, the bankers were presented with five investment projects in need of financial support. Among them there are three projects in the field of dairy cattle: the construction of a cowshed in the Shali district, the reconstruction and modernization of the barn in the Achitsky region and the construction of a dairy complex in the Kamyshlovsky district, one accelerating rabbit breeding farm in the Serovsky urban district and a technical upgrade of potato and vegetable production in Kamensk district, the implementation of which will allow storing high-quality products above the achieved level.
The presentation of each project to the representatives of the banking community provided the necessary information on the main economic indicators and preferential terms for the loan, and representatives of relevant ministries and agencies gave their expert assessment. All this will allow the financiers to consider the possibility of financing business initiatives of the Ural agrarians.
"In recent years, the agro-industrial complex of the Sverdlovsk region has demonstrated consistently high performance in several areas. And in this work I see a manifestation of interest in the joint solution of problems on the part of banks.
So in 2017, the banking sector responded promptly and constructively to changes in the terms of the program for concessional lending to enterprises of the agro-industrial complex. In accordance with the new procedure for subsidizing in 2017, part of the interest rate on loans is repaid directly to authorized credit institutions, which allowed banks to issue loans to agrarians at a rate of no more than 5% per annum and significantly simplified the process of obtaining state support for farmers, "said the First Vice-Governor Sverdlovsk region Alexey Orlov.
