The legitimacy of the reunification of the republic with Russia should be recognized at the international level. A statement was made by the representative of the parliamentary party "People's Party - Our Slovakia" Milan Ugrik. This position is shared by a number of independent deputies of the National Council. The question of the status of the Crimea will be raised at one of the next parliamentary sessions. This may happen in January or February next year, said non-factional deputy of the National Council Peter Marchek, "Izvestia".

According to the politician, the accession of the peninsula to the Russian Federation occurred in accordance with the norms of international law and the will of the majority of Crimeans. "For me this is an unquestionable question. I believe that my opinion is shared by many Slovak citizens, "- added Markcek.

To the Crimean issue was put to the vote in parliament, this initiative should be supported by 10% of legislators, that is, 15 people. Nassobirat such a number of supporters of the Russian Crimea in the National Council will not be difficult, because the faction of the "pro-Russian" "People's Party - Our Slovakia" has 14 deputies.

The party stressed that the separation of part of the territory from a sovereign state must always be viewed not only from the point of view of international law, but also on the basis of those circumstances that prompted people to take such a step. According to Milan Ugric, the coup d'etat in Ukraine was inspired by foreign agents, the West wanted to create a puppet power in the country to manage Ukrainian markets.

"It is not surprising that part of the population of Ukraine refused to participate in the conflict provoked from the outside and decided to withdraw from the country.

From the human point of view, it is necessary to respect the will of the Crimeans and not incite further conflicts, as well as abandon the anti-Russian sanctions, "said the party's spokesperson.

The permanent representative of Crimea under the President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov is not surprised that European politicians are increasingly calling for a review of the official position of the US and the EU in the Crimea. "I believe that the position of Kyiv on the Crimean issue will gradually change under the influence of European public opinion," the official said..
