The next wave of migration of people from unstable regions of Africa and the Middle East to European countries will lead to severe consequences, said David Beesley, head of the World Food Program (WFP). In an interview with Zeit, the German edition, Bizli noted that today Europe faces a new crisis related to the influx of refugees who live in the camps and suffer from disruptions in the supply of humanitarian aid, primarily food. According to him, the situation of the two-year-old has been repeated, which, after a time, failed to correct. "We paid a high price for this mistake, I'm afraid that we will make it a second time," the Bizle quotes Kurier.

In the future, in the absence of food in the camps, the refugees will rush to Europe, despite the desire to return to their homeland as soon as conflicts settle down there. According to Beazley, many countries allocate money to fight hunger, but the situation with food supplies has deteriorated so much that the actions of the world community in this direction are not enough. Last year, the number of hungry people around the world began to grow again. This happened for the first time in the last ten years, the head of the WFP.

Among the main reasons for the growth of starving Beesley called the war and climate change.
