In the first reading, Bill No. 7163 on the reintegration of Donbass, in which the Russian Federation is assigned the status of "aggressor", was supported by 233 deputies, against 32 deputies voted. Seven MPs abstained, and 63 MPs did not take part in the voting. Voting results are published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada. The document stresses that Ukraine is not responsible for "Russian aggression" in the Donbass and is not responsible for the actions of the armed groups supported by Moscow. In addition, it fixes the procedure for the management of measures to ensure national security and defense in these territories. Also, the Parliament adopted the bill No. 7164 on the extension of the special status of Donbass supported by the overwhelming majority of deputies - 229. 57 deputies voted against the bill, seven abstained, and 44 deputies did not take part in the procedure at all.

The results of voting on this draft law are also posted on the website of the Parliament. RIA FAN notes that during the voting between the deputies there was a scuffle. Opponents of Russia's recognition as an aggressor tried to seize the podium, and a member of the Freedom faction - to break through to the presidium.

In the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics have already reacted to the decision of the Verkhovna Rada to pass a law on the reintegration of Donbass, calling it contrary to the Minsk Agreements.
