Mayor of Irbit Gennady Agafonov has not yet started fulfilling the assignment of the President of the Russian Federation to solve the problem with the city's wastewater treatment plants, which went out of order. This was announced by Legislative Assembly Deputy Vyacheslav Wegner.

From the reserve fund of the Sverdlovsk region for design and estimate documentation for the construction of new treatment facilities in the city were allocated money, but the document has not yet been compiled.

"At today's meeting of the conciliation commission, the mayor said that he was talking about this with contractors and is still considering options," Wegner wrote on his personal page in social networks.

In a conversation with a JustMedia correspondent.

ru regional parliamentarian noted that this situation was dissatisfied with the regional minister of housing and communal services Nikolai Smirnov and reminded that such typical projects that can be taken as a basis already exist in Pyshma.

Recall that in July 2017, Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the governor of the Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev touched on the topic of treatment facilities in Irbit, which were built in 1983, and 20 years later have ceased to work qualitatively.
