Next week, a large meeting of elected governors of the subjects of the Russian Federation with President Vladimir Putin. Among others, Evgeny Kuyvashev will appear before the head of state. The fact that the meeting is planned and prepared, Izvestia was informed by the press secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.

Also Evgeny Kuyvashev, who won on Sunday, September 10 at the elections of Sverdlovsk Governor, was congratulated by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.

"During your time as governor of the Sverdlovsk region, you have proved to be a competent leader who understands the problems of the region and can offer them an effective solution," reads a letter to the head of the region.

Dmitry Medvedev stressed that the confidence of the residents of the Sverdlovsk region, provided by Yevgeny Kuyvashev in the elections, is another confirmation of the effectiveness of the region's governance.

"I expect that your work in a responsible state post will serve to improve the living standards of people, to the sustainable development of the Sverdlovsk region," said Dmitry Medvedev.
