The problem of the growth of public debt in the regions is connected not only with the May decrees of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, but also with the building of a rigid vertical of power. On this eve at a meeting with the Urals entrepreneurs said a federal businessman and politician Dmitry Potapenko. A potential candidate for the election of the head of state from the "Party of Growth", answering a question from a JustMedia correspondent. Ru, said that the subjects of the Russian Federation have no other choice, and their leaders have too few opportunities to avoid rising debt.

"The regions now in the situation with the national debt there is no other choice. Each governor now sits on a very short leash. All subjects are very dependent on the federal center, earlier their leaders had more strength and more opportunities, "- said Potapenko.

As a solution to the problem, the entrepreneur suggested comparing the management of the region with a commercial firm, in which the main thing is to maintain a balance.

"The tasks of the governor in the region are very similar to the management of a commercial firm. The most important thing is to keep the balance. At the stage of working out a solution, there must be absolute democracy, and at the time of its implementation - absolute totalitarianism.

The main task of the leaders is not to stop people from managing. But for this they must first be taught this, "- explained his position entrepreneur.

It should be noted that the meeting that took place in the conference hall of the Park Inn Hotel was attended by more than three hundred representatives of the Ural business and the media. For more than three hours, Potapenko answered questions, after which everyone could communicate with him in an informal atmosphere.
