Former head of the Ministry of State Property Management of the Sverdlovsk region Alexei Pyankov headed the board of directors of Oblkommunenergo. The appointment of the authorities and the communal services were kept secret for almost a week. According to the press service of Oblkommunenergo, the order was signed on August 23.
Recall, Pyankov is now under investigation, he is accused of taking bribes and embezzling budget funds allocated for the preparation for the World Cup 2018. After he, after spending several months in jail, went on bail, the governor Evgeny Kuyvashev invited him to return to MUGISO. However, Pyankov refused, saying that he would return to work only after all charges had been dropped from him. Prior to his appointment to Oblkommunenergo, he worked as a public adviser to the head of the region.
