Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev clearly launched the budget process for 2018 in the Sverdlovsk region. The head of the region approved the composition of the commission to consider the proposals of local governments on the initial data for the calculation of intergovernmental transfers from the regional treasury.

"Until September 5, municipalities will have to agree on baseline data for calculating intergovernmental transfers, and from September 25 to October 6, the Ministry of Finance of the Sverdlovsk region will pass conciliation procedures in which representatives of municipalities, regional authorities and the deputy corps will take part," the regional finance ministry.

According to the ministry, the practice of conciliation is traditional for the region and will make the budget process open and transparent.

"We carry out conciliation procedures with municipalities annually for many years. This allows us to examine in detail the problems of each territory. Last year, following the results of this work, in addition to municipal needs, more than four billion rubles were distributed, "noted the vice-governor, the finance minister of the Sverdlovsk region, Galina Kulachenko.
