In Sverdlovsk region, an interdepartmental working group on the development of the digital economy. The corresponding head of the region Evgeny Kuyvashev gave July 26 at a meeting of the Council on Priority Strategic Projects.

"For our industrial region, the development of the digital economy is an urgent task. We should pay the most serious attention to the creation of a digital economy supporting infrastructure, to ensure universal digital literacy of the population, to support companies that are centers of competence in the field of digital and other end-to-end technologies. Taking into account the special importance of this work, I propose to create an interdepartmental group for developing approaches and a concept for the development of the digital economy in the region, including in the group of managers and specialists of specialized agencies, as well as external experts, "said Evgeny Kuyvashev.

The leadership of the interdepartmental group was entrusted to the first deputy governor, head of the administration of the head of the region Vladimir Tungusov.

Evgeny Kuyvashev stressed that the work on the development of the digital economy should also be conducted on the principles of the project approach, and also recalled that this direction Russian President Vladimir Putin described as key for the country's exit to a new level of development.

In addition, former Finance Minister of Russia, Chairman of the Council of the Center for Strategic Research Foundation Alexey Kudrin announced the state program "Digital Economy", calculated until 2024.

The program proposes to digitize the infrastructure for which the state is responsible. In particular, we are talking about such areas as housing and communal services, transport, trade, agriculture.

According to Kudrin, public services should be implemented by the very click of the mouse. For example, instead of obtaining a building permit or connecting to heating for more than a hundred days, the operation to provide the service should take hours, and maybe even seconds.
