The research conducted by the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region project showed which of the candidates for the post of head of the region will pass the so-called "municipal filter". According to the latest information, Evgeny Kuyvashev, Dmitry Ionin, Alexei Parfenov, Igor Toroshchin, Dmitry Sergin and Konstantin Kiselev will be able to collect the required number of signatures of deputies (at least 126)..
"Other candidates for the post of head of the region have no chances for this," the project staff conclude.
According to analysts, there are 1515 deputies in the Sverdlovsk Region alone. 971 of them are in United Russia, 90 in Fair Russia, 73 in the Communist Party, 36 in the LDPR and 30 in various small parties, from Yabloko to the Civil Platform. In addition, 316 deputies are self-nominated and formally none of the political structures have relations.
"Obviously, representatives of parliamentary parties will vote on the order received from their leadership. "Fair Russia" - for Dmitry Ionin, the Communist Party - for Alexei Parfenov, the LDPR for Igor Toroschina, "United Russia" - for Evgeny Kuyvashev and, possibly, for Dmitry Sergin with Konstantin Kiselyov, "experts say.
Employees of the project "Governor of the Sverdlovsk region" asked the deputies from small parties and self-nominees, for which of the candidates they will give their signature. Of the 227 people's polls, a large part (78 deputies) intends to support Yevgeny Kuyvashev.
Another 75 deputies refused to answer the question or reported that they had not yet decided on their choice. Nine people opposed all candidates, and only 24 people were ready to sign for Yevgeny Roizman.
According to the conclusions of the project, Evgeny Kuyvashev, Dmitry Ionin, Alexei Parfenov and Igor Toroshchin will pass the filter uniquely, Dmitry Sergin and Konstantin Kiselyov will be held only if deputies from United Russia vote for them, and finally, other "filter" candidates will not pass.
